Long before we chose The Crosby Mansion for our wedding day, its original builders, Albert and Matilda Crosby, accidentally wrote our blueprint.
Back in 1888, Albert was an older gentleman who just wanted to rest, kick his feet up, and gaze at Cape Cod Bay. Matilda was his much younger, dazzling wife who craved excitement, grandeur, and was always busy planning something. Rather than force one person to change, Albert built a 35-room mansion wrapped around his cozy cottage so he could rest in peace while Matilda lived large and kept the house buzzing.
Sound familiar?
Between Matt’s dedication to resting and recharging, Kelly’s natural state of feral chaos, we couldn’t be a more natural fit for Crosby’s history. It turns out that when a calm anchor meets a wild storm, the result isn't conflict—it's a party big enough to fill a mansion.
